Overall Aim: To ensure health and social care staff understand how to safely, lawfully and person- centredly manage and administer ‘when required’ (PRN) medicines in adult social care, in line with CQC guidance, so that people receive the right medicine, at the right time, for the right reason, with appropriate recording, review and safeguarding.
