The resource provides clear, practical and accessible information on the anatomy of the ear, how hearing works, common types of hearing loss, recognising signs of hearing difficulties in children and adults, effective communication techniques, environmental adjustments, and the safe use, cleaning and maintenance of hearing aids.
It includes a training presentation, handouts, end-of-session knowledge check and separate Trainer Aide Answer Key, giving trainers resources to deliver a structured session.
All documents are fully editable should they need to be adapted to suit your organisation, learners or delivery requirements.
